HISTORICAL INFORMATION

L'esemplare del Trionfo di Cristo della Bibliotèque nationale de France (inv. Bc 10, ff. 27-31) oggetto di questa scheda, è una copia posteriore al 1547, di minore qualità rispetto alla versione del Trionfo di Cristo di Margariete Liefrinck (ALU.0173.3). L'iscrizione in francese che corre lungo il margine superiore della xilografia è la medesima del modello, ma mancano quasi tutti i testi interni, che designano gruppi o singole figure che prendono parte alla processione: sono presenti solo i cartigli di Adamo, Eva, Abele e il nome sul trofeo di Goisuè (Rosand & Muraro 1976, p. 39, V). Esemplari di questa xilografia si trovano a: Parigi, Bibliothèque nationale de France (inv. Bc 10, ff. 27-31): ALU.0174.1, oggetto di questa scheda; Amsterdam, Rijksmuseum (inv. RP-P-OB-31.247 fino a 256): ALU.0174.2. New York, collezione privata (incompleta, vedi Rosand & Muraro 1976, p.39): ALU.0174.3
