Consultation of the archival material is possible only by prior request for an appointment, to be sent to the above addresses.
For consultation of the volumes belonging to the personal libraries (AMOM, EPOV, GPOL, LSQU, MAL, MILL, PSAM, ROL), the authorization request has to arrive at least three working days before the date of the consultation.
In any case, the request has to be justified and it must contain explicit reference to the research that is taking place and the institution / University to which you are working.
The library of Gian Francesco Malipiero (Venice, 18 March 1882 - Treviso, 1 August 1973), which belongs to the Istituto per il Teatro e il Melodramma, consists of the musician's collection of 1300 books, including precious sixteenth-century works, texts from the early twentieth century and bibliographic rarities.
The library was donated by Malipiero himself to the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in the early 1960s.
